Terms and Conditions

‘Private London Tours’ is a trading name of Luxury Private Tours LLC. You may see either or both of these names on our website and in our marketing materials; both names are used interchangeably and refer to services booked through Luxury Private Tours LLC (Office address: Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, U.A.E.). All terms are in accordance with the governing jurisdiction of the U.A.E. “Luxury Private Tours LLC” maintains the https://privatelondon.tours/ Website (“Site”).

By booking a tour with Private London Tours, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These also apply to bookings made through third-party services and websites.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

If you cancel at least 10 days in advance of the scheduled departure time and date of your first tour with us, there is a £100 cancellation fee per tour, plus the cost of any admission and train tickets.
If you cancel between 4 days and 10 days in advance of the scheduled departure time and date of your first tour with us, there is a 50% cancellation fee per tour, plus the cost of any admission and train tickets.

If you cancel within 96 hours (4 days) of the scheduled departure time and date of your first tour with us, there is a 100% cancellation fee.

Departure times are listed in local London time – if you are unsure, please contact us. Attraction tickets and train tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances. We strongly recommend you have full travel insurance for your trip. Refunds will be made onto the original mode of payment and will be processed within 10 to 45 days, depending on the issuing bank of the credit card.

Other Terms and Conditions:

Accepting Reservations and Payments: Visa or MasterCard debit and credit cards in GBP will be accepted for payment. We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) and sanctioned countries in accordance with the law of the UAE. The Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules. Once the payment is made, a confirmation notice will be sent to the client via email within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

Delivery Policy: You will receive an email confirmation after booking. Your tours will be delivered on the date which they have been booked for. Multiple bookings will result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement.

Providing Details: As part of our tour process, we require details from you to customise your tour. These may include (but are not limited to) party size, preferred departure location and preferred departure time. Once you have made a reservation, you must provide us with these details. Please contact us before reserving any pick-ups outside of central London (TfL Zone 1). If you have not provided these details at least 48 hours before your tour, we may not be able to proceed with your tour, and this may be forfeited with no refund. You also acknowledge that certain last-minute requests may not be fulfilled if you do not provide these details immediately after booking. There is no guarantee that all attractions, restaurants, roads, or areas of the city will be open during your tour, nor that certain ceremonies or events will take place. Customers using the website who are Minor /under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account

Check-In: Once you have agreed on a departure time and location, please be present on time. For private tours, if you are not present within 10 minutes of your scheduled start time, your guide (or Private London Tours) will attempt to contact you via the phone number you provide during the booking process. If this is a public tour, your guide and group will leave after 10 minutes. If after 30 minutes, you are still uncontactable, you will be considered a “no-show”, and your tour will not take place – a refund will not be given, and a cancellation fee of 100% of the tour price applies. Private London Tours is not able to extend a tour due to a late start.

We accept no responsibility for customer “no-shows” as a result of a delayed flight, train, ship or other forms of transportation. Please contact us if you know you will be delayed, so we can attempt to accommodate your new scheduled time – your tour will still finish at the same time, and your tour time will not be extended. We recommend you have valid travel insurance as we will not refund for delayed arrivals or no-shows.

Additionally, no refunds will be given for any persons who purchase a tour and do not present themselves, even if part of the group is present.

Weather Conditions: Tours take place in all weather conditions – rain, snow or shine. If a tour is cancelled due to weather, you will be offered a full refund and the choice of rebooking on a different date. If weather events are deemed by the tour guide to be too extreme, the tour may be suspended temporarily or end early – in this case, you will be offered a pro-rata refund. If you, the guest, choose to leave a tour early (or not participate in a tour) due to weather reasons and the tour has not been cancelled or suspended, you will not be issued a refund.

Third Parties: Any extras purchased through Private London Tours such as attraction tickets, transfers and excursions are 100% non-refundable from the time of purchase. Private London Tours accepts no responsibility for third parties, including at any food establishments visited, sites frequented or transportation used during the tour.

Safety: Please follow instructions and utilise discretion during the tour – you are responsible for your own safety during the tour. If the tour guide feels that for your safety or theirs, a tour needs to be cancelled or shortened, this will be done and a pro-rata refund will be provided. If a guest uses threatening behaviour, actions or language or refuses to abide by UAE laws and regulations, the tour will end immediately and a refund will not be provided. United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile. The governing law is the local law. All disputes arising in connection therewith shall be heard only by a court of competent jurisdiction in U.A.E. Abuse against staff, other guests or members of the public will not be tolerated and law enforcement will be called.

Force Majeur: In case of an extraordinary event (such as – but not limited to – natural disaster, terror attack) and a tour is cancelled, it is possible to reschedule your tour. Refunds may be available on a case by case basis, but are not guaranteed. If a tour guide cannot be present, you will be informed as far in advance as possible and offered a full refund or alternative tour dates.
