The Science Museum is located right next door to the Natural History Museum in the museum quarter of Kensington.

At the Science Museum you can learn all about outer space and moon landings, take part in interactive exhibitions, marvel at the history of flight, see how steam trains revolutionised the world in the Energy Hall, and much more.

A whole area dedicated to young children with shows and interactive exhibitions means that learning can be fun too.

Plus, discover what science was like in the 18th century, investigate climate change and learn fascinating facts about the human body.

You can also find an IMAX screen showing scientific movies, as well as a simulator attraction and numerous kids play areas to immerse the younger visitors in the fun.

Temporary exhibitions and special events mean there is always a multitude of reasons to keep coming back.
